The scope of the services that can be provided by Nigerian Life and Provident Company Limited are as stated below:-
(a) Arranging for Scheme’s Actuarial Valuation as and when necessary. The
Trustees would bear the cost.
(b) To liaise between the client and Insurance Company.
(c) To work with the appointed Underwriter in ensuring that the Scheme is
adequately funded.
(d) Management of Fund (as Corporate Pensions Manager) if the Scheme is to be
operated on a contracted out Fund Management basis.
(i) Recommendation of Underwriters.
(ii) Ensuring that competitive rates are charged.
(iii) Efficient renewal processes to ensure that all staff are appropriately
covered.
(iv) Obtain payment for death claims upon submission of all relevant documents.
(v) Any other function pertinent to the successful administration of the scheme.
